Located On Rue Git-le-Coeur is this celebrated small, historically listed street in the 6th arrondissement, only 112 meters long, connecting Rue Saint-André-des-Arts to the Seine River. The street's name translates to "Here lies my heart," coined by King Henri IV. How perfect!

Bonjour my Paris lovers and friends. TRULY! If I had my last EVER 3 days in Paris’ left bank in my life (god forbid), THIS would be the very itinerary and route I would take! Absolutely! because you will experience the complete richness of all the secret little left bank nooks that I have discovered as well as magnificent monuments and the diversity of each neighbourhood of the left bank, its beautiful varying atmospheres from the academic literary Latin Quarter (5eme) to the Chic Luxe St Germain des Pres (6eme) to the iconic Eiffel Tower neighbourhood (7eme) and also taking in the Notre Dame and Islands (4eme)! So overall a perfect mix of must-sees and authenticity!
What I adore even more is that NO place is more than a 15 min walk between the next place (with one exception of reaching the Eiffel Tower from your accommodation which is an unavoidable must. SO if you are someone who avoids or wants to avoid metros and buses at all costs, this is your perfect walking itinerary.
The (other) perfection of this itinerary is that you are also ticking off every single Parisian French cultural & lifestyle and must-experience: Traditional and best French crepes, Macaron tasting in the most iconic Patisserie, endless art noveau boulangeries and croissants, enjoy the intimacy of classic Parisian underground jazz bars, go to the theatre, you will enjoy a symphony , iconic museums, as well as small artist residence museum seeing their ateliers/studios where they worked, visit old historic brasseries, one of which from 1635 located on the oldest street in Paris. Alvin is of Malaysian heritage and from Brisbane Australia. 15 years ago he came to Paris and fell in love became a pastry chef and stayed. Ugh the dream! The courage!
He knows all the best pastry and coffee places both in the area of the apartment and within most of Paris.
For Alvin and Petite Paris, we are not just about offering travellers an empty apartment, Alvin is also is a friend, who will welcome you upon arrival, show you all the bits-and-bobs of the home, spend time with you sharing his city tips, as well as helping you to plan you Paris days from the apartment. Its about friendship, human kindness, acceptance, it should not feel AT ALL like arriving at a hotel or empty apartment rental. It will feel like coming home to a friend and coming HOME!
