Welcome to an original Petite Paris B&B, since 2009 I have been proudly offering this deluxe B&B Chambre d’hote run by the delightful and darling Monique as your intimate personable and authentic family homestay experience in Paris. Living like a local, in a real family home with an incredible host who will make you feel right at home, looked after, safe and cozy in her 75m2 penthouse rooftop home built in the 1930s. (with lift direct facing the front door).

Moniques home is truly magnificent. A rooftop garden oasis dream, with terrace and multiple balconies (including one from your guest bedroom) boasting wonderful rooftop views across the city (including a petit view of the Sacre Coeur Basilica and the Eiffel Tower) - you can enjoy the garden terrace anytime you wish, coffee or wine, soaking up the sun and fresh air. And breakfast is served by Monique daily in the dining room which boats a magnificent rooftop view of Paris, or on the terrace when its sunny and warm. Monique adores the breakfast service as her favourite part of the B&B service, serving your fresh traditional french breakfasts of baguettes and croissants or pain au chocolates, butter, jams, fruit, coffee and tea and a special extra on occassion, fromage and yogurts. If you would like eggs please request this and Monique would be happy to prepare this for you. Monique was born in Paris and is a gorgeous hostess, speaking good english, you will enjoy getting to know her and learning about Paris through her eyes.

The home is in an affluent, designer and secret artisan part of Paris, the beautiful Batignolles in the 17eme, the real and old Parisian bourgeoisie type of atmosphere. It is minutes to Opera Garnier with direct bus at the front door and also to Galleries Lafayette where you can then walk a few mninutes onwards to le marais village if you wish to explore it. It is also an easy to walk to Montmartre on foot. The batignolles village is known for its small one-off designer boutiques, quaint elegance, upscale living, peacefulness away from the touristic hotspots, surrounded by nothing by a gorgeous residential atmosphere with beautiful parks and squares (such as the beautiful square Batignolles and the famous Parc Martin Luther King and Parc Monceau (the runners favourite) and all the usual and necessary local boulangeries patisseries, bars, brasseries, bistrots and cafes. An easy direct metro ride (200m away) gets you to the Grand and Petit Palais, Champs Elysees, Pont Alexandre and the Seine River, the Tuileries and more. All of Paris is an easy reach from this authentic Paris home. If you wanted to live in Paris, THIS is the sort of neighbourhood you would choose. A residential central gem!

Guests are welcome to enjoy the private apartment that belongs to Monique entirely, the home is a shared space, and Monique welcomes you to enjoy the lounge with TV (wifi is throughout the home), dining room anytime, even play the piano if you wish (though not after 8pm), and of course the gorgeous terrace. If you wish to store some foods and drinks in the kitchen you are able to do so as well.

Please note: Monique has a gorgeous timid little dog, she does her best to keep the entire apartment hair free daily. But please be aware pet hair may still be found. If you have allergies this B&B may not be the best for you.

You are offered a gorgeous guestroom in the home with a typical Paris balcony that opens up for you to overlook the rooftops. Beautifully presented, quaint and stylish it invokes restful nights sleep. It has a Queen size bed for 1 or 2 guests (bed cannot be split in two sorry) and there are bedside tables and it also has its own TV if you prefer to watch privately. You have a large cupboard outside your bedroom to store your luggage and hang all your clothing comfortably. As well as iron available and iron board.

There is one bathroom with huge jacuzzi bath tub, to be shared with Monique, however Monique is a true hostess and will never use the bathroom while you are home, only when you are out sightseeing, giving you priority sole use always. She keeps the bathroom cleaned throughout the day also. A hairdryer, toiletries and towels are all provided to you

NOTE: There is NO air-con in any traditional Paris home or apartment. This is not a hotel, this is the home of an everyday Parisian and Parisians are not inclined to purchase air-cons for their homes (often seen as an extravagant unnecessary expense due to Paris having such mild weather year round. If you require air-con for any medical or personal needs please do not book this B&B.
