I have been staying at Antonellas as a solo woman traveller for 10 years! It has become my perfect home-away-from-home as part of my regular Paris trips and Paris lifestyle.

It is perfect for solo travellers and encouraged for women travellers, to enjoy a classic B&B in a real family home; to experience living with a local host who will instantly become a friend'; and one whom will ensure you are always comfy and happy while sharing all her city secrets. The perfect intimate and cultural-immersion experience and a true friend in Paris awaits you. And as a solo woman traveller it is such a comfort to be in a space as cozy safe like this - with. asense of connection and intimacy that makes solo travel NOT about being alone!

Note: At certain times of the year Anton needs to leave PAris for work, this means there is a chance you will be left for a few days on your own to enjoy the apartment entirely to yourself. Many guests enjoy this balance of sharing with antonella but having the entire apartment at times too. In sating this Antonella is a very independent person (like you) so even in a shared scenario she will be coming and going from the apartment much like you as you go about your sightseeing!

At certain times of year Antonella goes away on holiday and offers her entire home as a self contained space - please enquire for dates to find out. In this instance self contained apartment rates apply and are different to the B&B rates (shown below).

This B&B is located up the street from Place des Vosges, and is right across the road from Musee Carnavalet and near Musee Picasso and an easy stroll to the oldest and most festive and bustling open air fresh food markets, Marche des Enfants Rouge, and surrounded by a labyrinth of quaint and quintessential cafes, brasseries, bistrots, boutique, some of the best boulangeries and more are at your feet. You really could not be in a better place to launch each day into Paris. Here you will be able to walk to everything and trly enjoy the Paris apartment experience where popping in and out of the home throughout the day is a luxury and delight.

The incredibly humble and effortlessly stylish yogi home of Anton, is a hop skip and jump from all the major attractions of the Marais village in Paris. Situated across from the Musee Carnavalet (your outlook from the lounge room window is of the Museums garden courtyard), you are in the most sought after, trendiest part of the city.

Le Marais village is known for its local designer shopping and its incredible abundance of tres chic bars, quintessential restaurants, cafes, the Jewish Quarter and lots of hidden and unexpected passages, gardens and markets. It is only a short 15min walk to the Seine river, the Louvre and more.

B&B Anton is a peaceful oasis in the heart of it all, offering one guest bedroom with shared bathroom next door to the bedroom. As this is Anton’s private home, you will be sharing the space - bathroom, lounge room and kitchen, with her. However Anton is extremely discreet despite her own bedroom being next door to yours and will always wait until you are out sightseeing before using the bathroom and shower - if she can. She is a dear loyal host of Petite Paris with the warmest of heart (and whom I have been working with for over 10 years) - a true hospitality Queen who will welcome you like old friends or family, share her city secrets with you - wonderful opportunities to chat and get plenty of city advice.

Mindful of your comfort and happiness above all else Anton will always give guests priority use of the lounge and kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfasts using the basic essential ingredients Anton leaves for you (butter, jams, milk etc) - in fact you may find she is often away.

In this case she will not be around as much to share cafes and chats so this B&B scenario is suited to someone who wants someone around but will also be ok if Anton needs to leave them to the home alone. Otherwise, being the beautiful people-loving person that she is, she is always up for a chat and tea together, perhaps a visit to a local cafe together and she is also a lifelong astrology student and would be so enthusiastic to read your astrology and talk all things universal with you. She is a yogi at heart and she particularly wishes to welcome solo women travellers to her home, to share her Paris with them.

This apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the building WITH lift. Upon entering find yourself in the open book-filled lounge room with velvety yoga lounge chairs with the fully equipped kitchen adjoining. Guests have full kitchen access to prepare small basic meals and snacks - no large meals - also to store drinks etc.

Down the hallway is where you find the guest bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is to be shared with antonella but I assure she is extremely disceet and only will use it when you are out sightseeing. It is always kept clean and orderly for you. Anton is a great hostess in this regard and very mindful.

Breakfast is served daily by Antonella (unless she needs to leave the city for sudden work assignments which does happen from time to time in which case you would be left to the entire apartment alone) however guests are able to self serve breakfast with full use of the kitchen and all the basic essentials are there - butter, jam, milk, sugar, tea, coffee. Guests are free to use the kitchen anytime during the days and evenings too.
