3 Day Itinerary, Left Bank of Paris - St Germain & Latin quarter
Bonjour my Paris lovers and friends. TRULY! If I had my last EVER 3 days in Paris’ left bank in my life (god forbid), THIS would be the very itinerary and route I would take! Absolutely! because you will experience the complete richness of all the secret little left bank nooks that I have discovered as well as magnificent monuments and the diversity of each neighbourhood of the left bank, its beautiful varying atmospheres from the academic literary Latin Quarter (5eme) to the Chic Luxe St Germain des Pres (6eme) to the iconic Eiffel Tower neighbourhood (7eme) and also taking in the Notre Dame and Islands (4eme)! So overall a perfect mix of must-sees and authenticity!
What I adore even more is that NO place is more than a 15 min walk between the next place (with one exception of reaching the Eiffel Tower from your accommodation which is an unavoidable must. SO if you are someone who avoids or wants to avoid metros and buses at all costs, this is your perfect walking itinerary.
The (other) perfection of this itinerary is that you are also ticking off every single Parisian French cultural & lifestyle and must-experience: Traditional and best French crepes, Macaron tasting in the most iconic Patisserie, endless art noveau boulangeries and croissants, enjoy the intimacy of classic Parisian underground jazz bars, go to the theatre, you will enjoy a symphony , iconic museums, as well as small artist residence museum seeing their ateliers/studios where they worked, visit old historic brasseries, one of which from 1635 located on the oldest street in Paris. Go to the best coffee spots, the essential street watching from cult cafes, iconic shopping destinations, designer consigment boutiques for your budget friendly luxury goos, the BEST Hot Chocolate, sit and snook with the Parisians in the most famous park, explore secret gardens, do a wine tasting - and its FREE, enjoy the sparking Eiffel Tower at sunset sparkling in the distance with rooftop panoramic views of the city at a rooftop cocktail bar, you will sailing the seine river, go antique book market shopping along the seine, and more - and all without even going across the seine to the right bank - however an option for a classy CV car tour is offered with this itinerary for anyone who wants to get the rest of Paris in style, and quickly on wheels).
Alvenes Arrival Orientation Service is also an option you can add at checkout to add to a personalised version of this itinerary, if you wish to have my incredible B&B host and guide meet you after you have checked into your B&B to show you around and show you Paris through the eyes of a local, sharing all the must knows and essential street and city tips. Giving you a bit of a Paris start-up experience
What else is amazing about this itinerary, its completed by Paris, because between every location and venue on this itinerary that you will be walking to, you will be in awe of ALL ‘the in-between stuff’!!! You will be surrounded by and immersed in the magic of the city, the art, the architecture, the fashion, the smells of boulangeries, the sounds of street performers, passing sirens, yes of traffic too, the boutique shopping pull, the art galleries you admire as you pass by, the art of watching everyone cafe sitting, and watching the cafe sitters watching you as you walk by… its truly an art, a sport, and who does the least WINS!
There are more wonders to the left bank, such as Montparnasse and the secret garden passages of the 14eme, and the best antique flea market also in the 14eme, as well as wonderful workshops that I have tested out (art classes, bouquet making classes, macaron classes etc), so if you want these or more to be added to your itinerary, to modify this itinerary to suit you in any way please select the EDIT ME NOW OPTION at checkout - I can add more days to your Paris trip, remove locations, add locations, basically tailor it to you in any way you wish because thats the petite way. Personalised to you if you wish! Maybe a massage location for the end of the day?!
Finally Emilys building is not formally included in this itinerary, though I have marked when its nearby hehe, but you will just have to CHATGPT that one. This is Petite not your generic list of places that automation can tell you, this by my personal list after digging living and searching beyond the obvious, for you! hehe :) and for me to not forget and return to!
