Welcome to Apartment Julien in Paris, a unique and RARE space in Paris, this bright sunfilled spacious dream home and 1 bedroom abode for 1-4 guests is private self-contained apartment in the absolute central heart of Paris.
The 2eme is known as the foodies paradise with Rue Montorgueil the long cobblestoned pedestrian only strip of fresh food, markets, cafes and boutique gourmet shops around the corner - such a sought after location and one of my absolute favourites for living and visiting Paris.
Equally you are bordering the 3eme - le marais and within 5 mins walk you are in the bustle of the most historic trendy and exquisite part of the city that every one wants to live in.
Furthermore you are walking distance to the 9eme, and 10eme, and even better mere minutes to the major attractions of the right bank of Paris - Jardin Tuileries, the Louvre, Palais Royal, Opera Garnier, Place Concorde, Rue Saint Honore with its line up of luxury boutiques, Rue Rivoli and the Seine River.
This means that at your doorstep you are inevitable spoilt with bars, brasseries, patisseries, cafes, bistrots, parks, secret gardens and passages, shops, museums, markets - absolutely everything you dream of experiencing in the city.

Alvene is your welcoming host and apartment owner, he will always help you with bags at arrival and on departure and offer you plenty of local advice and tips and will be on hand the entire duration of your stay if you need anything.

Apartment Julien is a beautifully cared for and perfectly presented home with a mix of modern and antique style.
Those wooden beams are so French and beautiful, with floow to cieling terrace windows that open up entirely on all sides of the apartment, letting the city in, it is an incredible feeling to do so.
The sounds and smells of the city infiltrating your divine space each morning, even when you are resting at home, you feel like you are still in the thick of it all without any sense of urgency to go back out quickly.
The essential Paris home experience is achieved here, the apartment life is a big part of Paris life.
Again this apartment has the perfect holiday feel of new, with a touch of old world traditional Paris everyday char,
Located on the 3rd floor of a traditional haussmann building (no lift though Alvene will always greet his guests at arrival and assist with bags) it is extremely spacious by Parisian standards.
Within your home, there is one very large bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, hangers, iron and iron board and a Queen bed.
The lounge is a sofabed that can be used too. All rooms have windows with soundproof glass. The bed in this home is top quality for comfort – Linens are the best fresh sweet smelling, and the bed is soft-firm, the perfect balance.
I love how the kitchen is fully open-space leaking out into the lounge space. Making for a wonderful feeling open energy in the home. It is equipped with absolutely all you need to live independently in Paris.
Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, cooktop and over, a laundry washing machine, and lots of essentials will be left for you by Alvene – water, tea, coffee pods, sugar etc. and welcome chocolates.
The bathroom is also modern and has a walk in shower, plenty of empty drawers to store your toiletries, Heating rack also for towels.
A hairdryer is available as well as all towels, basic hand wash gel and body wash for showers (no shampoo or conditioner).
About your host Alvene:
Alvene is of Malaysian heritage and from Brisbane Australia. 15 years ago he came to Paris and fell in love and basically never left.
He is a pastry chef in Paris (he knows all the best pastry and coffee places both in the area of the apartment and within all of Paris). He purchased his apartment as his primary residence but also lives between his Paris home and another Paris home he rents. When Alvene is not in this apartment he offers it to fellow Aussie or international guests.
Alvene is a wonderful host, who aligns with Petite Paris ethos of making connections with guests. For Alvene (and Petite Paris) it is not just about offering travellers an empty apartment, Alvene is also is a friend, who will welcome you upon arrival, show you all the bits-and-bobs of the home, spend time with you sharing his city tips, as well as helping you to plan you Paris days from the apartment.
He loves to connect with guests in a deeper way, getting to know them and promising them the utmost quality hospitality and care. Alvene offers bike riding tours around Paris too, another way for him to get to know his guests and vice-versa for guests to get to know Alvene, as well as the city, and hopefully make this their ‘forever’ home in Paris.

Beginning and ending at the apartment, explore the magic of Paris by night with Alvene as your guide on this 2-hour ride to beautiful locations around the city.
