B&B Brigitte is nothing short of enchanting and quintessential. The two independent guest suites (which sit side by side) both have private ensuite bathrooms, so if you are a family or group wishing to divide your group into two with separate independent entries and spaces to disconnect, this home is perfect.
The B&B suites are offered to guests by the amazing French Historian Brigitte who is a wealth of Paris information. She is an experienced host of over 20 years and is a genuine, sincere French lady who will welcome and host you as though you are family. I have known Brigitte for 15 years and she is hands-down our most loyal, professional and kindest hostess who has the most return guests - year after year travellers request to return to her suites because she offers an authentic intimate experience of Paris, she loves to invite guests into her own private parlour in her private apartment next door (if they so wish) for tea, cakes and some chatter about Paris, art, history, travel! It is the perfect opportunity for cultured travellers to get to know a local, make lifelong friends, gain insider city tips and knowledge and to practice their French…
The location: The picturesque setting of the home, being only 1 min walk from the Seine River banks and the Notre Dame Cathedral, means you are in the ultimate prime real estate (literally one of the oldest streets in Paris) and the most sought after arrondissement - on the cusp of the prestigious St Germain des Pres village, surrounded by cafes, boulangeries, patisseries, brasseries, bars, restaurants, museums, galleries, boutiques. You wont take more than a few steps before you are stopped and seduced by some gorgeous cafe, gallery or boulangerie…
From Brigitte’s home you can walk to the iconic Cafe Odette, Shakespeare and Co bookstore, the Pantheon, sites made famous by the movie ‘Midnight in Paris’ and the grand boulevards of the st Germain des Pres where boutique shoppers go to local designer heaven.
