Le Village St Paul
Not your typical open-air Parisian Market, this is actually an enclosed cobblestoned courtyard in the heart of the Marais, down an unassuming narrow street; in a maze of more tiny streets, lined with antique seconds shops, art galleries and eateries . It has the most old-world nostalgic feel to it, like stepping back in time to 17th Century Paris. It is almost always eerily quiet, not too many know of this spot or venture down this rue, but it is well worth the authentic atmosphere and welcoming French faces, and of course and curiosities, the rare antique bric-a-brac pieces. This is a place for authentic, original items for the home, furniture, art and decoration.
