Le Double Fond - Theatre de la Magie
After years of exploring Paris we love to discover more unique and authentic ways to explore and enjoy Paris, its entertainment, culture and people and so here is an unexpected venue and awesome night out in Paris. Visit Le Double Fond, a cafe-theatre for magic shows. Located in the heart of the Marais district, this delightful venue has a warm and friendly atmosphere. During the meal, magician-waiters come round and offer to perform magic right there at your table. Then, on the lower ground floor, you can discover shows which give a whole new meaning to magic shows: no big illusions or sawing a woman in half, but interactive magic, right before your eyes, full of fabulous humour and totally baffling! Your will be sure to remember these fun, unusual and magical moments.
The dinner: A dinner show without cutlery or plates. Each menu consists of an assortment of sweet and savoury finger food. There are 2 set menus on nights when the restaurant is open to the public, 'Plaisir' and '5 étoiles', and 2 set menus for private functions, '4 étoiles' and 'Diamants'.
Open Days: Tuesdays to Sundays - except Tuesdays in Winter.
Hours:
Tuesdays 5pm - 2am nonstop entertainment with magician waiters
Wednesday to Friday: 5pm - 2am, non-stop entertainment with magician-waiters, public show at 9pm.
Saturday: 2pm to 2am, non-stop entertainment with magician-waiters, magic show and magic workshop for children at 2.30pm and 4.30pm (except in August) and public show at 9pm.
Sunday: 3pm to 2am (midnight from October to March), non-stop entertainment with magician-waiters, magic show and workshop for children at 2.30pm and 4.30pm (except in August).
Prices:
'Just the show!' package: €25 per person
'Show + drink' package: €40 per person.
Show and 'Plaisir' dinner: €70 per person (20 piece cocktail buffet, unlimited wine, magic performed at your table and a show).
Show and 5-star dinner: €85 (1 glass of champagne, luxury 27 piece cocktail buffet, unlimited wine, magic performed at your table and a show)
Disability Access:
Le Double Fond offers a special package adapted to disabled people: for €10 per person, and welcome you at the bar with a soft drink of your choice and two 15 minute shows by our magician-waiters. Please note that access to the show on the lower ground floor is difficult for physically-disabled people. Unfortunately they have not yet received authorization to carry out the necessary work to improve access.
