Café Le Nemours
If we were to describe the classic Paris cafe experience Le Nemours would be it with classic rattan cafe chairs, refined waiters who still wear the classic uniform of a black vest and pants, white shirt, and a starched white apron rolled at the waist. This is one of the most iconic cafes and brasseries in Paris, featured in the film The Tourist where Angelina Jolie stands in front.
Le Nemours is in a gorgeous setting located steps away from the Louvre and at the gateway to the Palais Royale.
Breakfast and lunch options are great here, coffee is not the best but as you know in Paris its not about the coffee at these iconic cafes, but the ambience …and the freedom to sit for as long as you like on a 2.50euro cup of coffee. Aperitifs of an evening is also a great idea!
